thanks Slow, I was so excited to see how the dolphins came out. The flow blue edges of the plates weren't very big and I was nervous about having to work so small, especially the 2nd one up - looking at us, I thought I'd never get that to work.

Ditto to ERNIE and CALAM: I noticed there's no glass in that little area where it glistens like water. Pray tell - how did you do that? I love the background w/the blending from light to dark too. Everything about this yells TALENT.

yeah, the splash area! I made those splashy pieces on the ring saw and after gluing them on I realized that the cool lines of those cut outs would be lost if I tried to fit more glass around to fill, so I opted to just do a bigger area (it is only 2 inches wide) of sky matching grout (reinforced with weldbond) and I even laid in a little white grout to mimic sea foam.
