Should I mosaic the outside...

...of this wooden bowl? I'm concerned because there is a slight curve on the edge and I'm not sure how the tiles will lay. I plan on painting it if I don't mosaic the outside. What do you think?

I would mosaic the lip of the bowl, but not the outside. I think the tone of the wood is lovely and the foot on the bowl is a nice detail. The colors you chose complement the color of the wood nicely. Just my 2 cents!

You could do either. I'd probably paint it myself

I think I agree with mosaicing the lip and leaving the outside wood as is. This color of wood does indeed compliment the colors chosen.
