Cutting tile

I received a big box of 4" tiles from someone who was throwing them away. I want to make stepping stones using some of the tiles (they're all white), thought I'd make daisies. What's the easiest way to cut/score the tiles? Can I use my glass cutter to score them? Would that make a score sufficient to break the tile? Thanks for any help!

to be honest, scoring ceramic tile is a pain... you're better off nipping or renting a wet saw.

if its glass, yes you can score those

I use the tool that scores and breaks, but prefer my pistol grip glass scoring tool, then use the breaking part of the aforementioned tool. I first score/break the 4" tiles into strips, then I use the wheeled nippers to nip them into the desired shape.
