mosaics in Mexico

My husband and I recently took a small road trip to a place called Santiago Excuintla, it is a medium sized city just south of Mazatlan and the jumping off point to the island of Mexcaltitan, the home of the Aztecs. We were very surprised and happy when we came across this montage of mosaics, which was completed in 1996.

I am very sorry but for some reason nothing I try will allow me to pass these pictures along to you but if you go onto Flickr and search "mosaics in mexico" and then click on "recent", they should pop up. If anyone has the time and the patience (and obvious intellegence)please feel free to post the link onto here. They are quite amazing and as you can tell, very large. Hope you enjoy seeing them.

Oh, wow. BEAUTIFUL. I can't wait to get to PV and all the art at the Hacienda, and see what all is new. When some of the artists leave, they leave their art behind for the Hacienda. It all explodes into inspiration. I LOVE Mexican art, and it's people. Here's a link. Mattie - while you are on the site, go up to your browser, right click on it and copy, then paste it here.
