HI!
Looking for any input on finishing the edges of a 2" thick Wedi board cutout.

I have 2" thick wedi board that will be cut into a surfboard shape and I'm applying stained glass mosaic for outdoor use.

I've used the 1/2" wedi before but used thinset to apply crushed glass as well as just covering the edges of the wedi with the thinset so I didn't worry too much about the sides

For this piece, I'll be using thinset to apply the stained glass to the top of the wedi but didn't know if you can just apply tiles the same way on the blue foam part of the sides..?
