Cloth Mosaics???????

Finished the sampler quilt for the fiance of my DD. He runs a large trucking company, and repaired my Bro's quilt, replacing the light borders/binding. Actually, I just covered them w/fabric almost identical to the original - original was little ducks, this one is stars - was made 15 yrs. ago by his late wife, and was tattered. Should last awhile.

Very Nice Slow! I have seen some quilts that look like stained glass pics, they are beautiful too! Was at a Craft Fair on the weekend where they were selling material squares from Africa material to raise money for African relief. Very bright colors!

did you get some of those material squares?...
and Slow...your work is very nice..I never in all my different types of arts, crafts and attempts, have I ever tried to quilt..
more power to all of you who have tackled that!

I think it's because quilting reminds me of algebra...it's abstract but also intricate and precise...I couldn't do algebra! that makes my mind go tilt...
