PROOF! I ain't talkin' bull!

Here is one of the salt dough skulls I made for my first Christmas tree (20 yrs ago!).

This is the first one I came to in the decorations box. The other ones I had made the hole bigger and used leather strings for the hangers.

Oh I'm totally feeling Christmassy! NOW!!!

so besides making tesserae from salt dough, we have even made it the base for mosaic, my DD crash glassed her painted stars!

Cool skulls ! ( can you see glass globs in he eye sockets , or is it just me?)

No need to make those. I already have some!
My western tree has really too many ornaments now. I have Santas riding buffalo (with a lasso in hand) Indian angels, of course cowboys, and so many others.
I use red chili pepper lights too. For the top... a cowboy hat! I use a burlap tree skirt and most of my packages are wrapped in plain brown shipping paper with red ribbons.
