Not sure if this is conversation or project related, but I had to share these! I got the article and pictures from an RSS feed of Craft Magazine, which has a ton of different stuff. This is way over my head for the moment, but what a level of craftsman- (or craftwomans-) ship to aspire to! Just amazing.

Never would have believed it if hadn't seen it!! But would be difficult to display & move them, they must be heavy!!Thanks for showing them! Jan

I, too, was blown away when I first saw the website of her "quilt" hanging on the bed frame. It's been awhile since I looked at it, but I BELIEVE she used the wire armature method. There are lots of artists who carve styrofoam and that w/make it quite portable. Haven't worked w/the foam yet, but w/love to try it, if I could find a place to get it. Truly amazing what artists can come up with. Wish I had another lifetime to devote to mosaics.
