You betcha', girlie. All was not lost. I checked this side to see if CRACKPOT was posting re the coming tropical storm that is to hit her area again tomorrow morn. I'm so tired of this heat. My garage/workshop a/c never shuts off, and the one for the house cuts off for what seems only seconds.

Hey, Slow, the tropical storm is headed to Houston this time, according to the accuweather.com 6:00 PM update. Quite a ways from where Annie is, as you should know.

I realized that, RUSTY, after I sent the message. Hadn't paid too much attention to the direction on the news. Wish we'd get some rain from it, but doubt it.

I feel awful for you texasfern! I have organized craft fairs for several years, and it took a couple years for me to make the rest of them realize the heat kills sales!
We now have an indoor place, but it costs the artists
an extra $20 a day.....no one has complained!Lol!
We still do the festivals in the unreal heat.....but
for some reason when there are carnival rides for the kids,
and food vendors
the heat doesn't seem to keep the buyers away!

Sorry to hear that. I'd like to invite you to our Anacortes, WA Art Festival held in August of each year. We have mild summers. If the temp gets up to 85 we think we're in a heat wave. It's a 3 day festival and thousands of people come in to look and buy.
