it's been about 6 months since we moved 10 hours away. my better half secured a great job at the hospital here and i was hoping that word would come through about a job for me from a government ministry.

it was a HUGE waiting game with the ministry pushing back deadlines, etc, for the better part of a year. i stayed home and looked after everybody.. applied for a few jobs here and there but they weren't a fit. being home all the time was hard for me. i love home but i love working, too...

then, today... i got it. it's my dream job and it's mine and i can't quite believe it. it's also going to be a TON of work but i'm just ridiculously happy. :D

i'd say that i won't be doing mosaic as much but i'll probably be doing a lot more when i'm home. being off made me feel totally uninspired and down so i haven't done nearly as much as i was doing a year ago when i was working f/t.. working will make me need that outlet more and gets the creative part of my mind to work more.
