| How about something like Ensure or Boost? |

| When my teenage sons' jaws were broken - upper and lower, I bought a chocolate protein powder to mix with milk and added a banana and I think a little oil. He fed himself with a syringe. It took hours of course and he had to wear a towel for a bib because a lot of it dribbled out. He was wonderfully patient and even went out to eat with us, brought his syringe and ate soup. I wouldn't have gone out with a towel wrapped around my throat on a bet so I was really proud of him. What I don't remember is if I added something to the powder to give him fiber - or maybe it was already in the mix. |
