LOOKING for: pedialyte or pediasure

| I once had a recipe for homemade electrolite solution, but I've lost it. Does anyone have this? I'd also like to give my daughter (she's 2) something like Pediasure, but it's so expensive. She's a picky eater. She does take a daily vitamin, but I sometimes worry that she's not getting enough. She really likes to drink juices and milk, so I thought maybe she would be more likely to drink something than eat a full meal. |

| Homemade Pedialyte 3 cups boiling water
1 tablespoon clear Karo Syrup
Pinch baking soda
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Mix thoroughly. |

I am looking for an alternative to PediaSure, mostly because of the cost. Any suggestions? Recipes welcome.
