LOOKING for: soy-free margarine

Posted by Collielover (My Page) on

I have a son who is anaphylactically allergic to soy and peanut. Is there a soy-free margarine out there I can use in baking other than butter? If anyone knows of such a thing, I would love to hear about it!
Thanks,
Collielover

Keep checking labels. I'm sure there is a 100% CORN oil margarine out there.

yes, there is the mother's passover brand of margarine that is soy and dairy free. I used that for my daughter when she was allergic to both milk and soy. It's made out of cottonseed oil. I actually have a bunch left (frozen). If anyone is interested in buying some, please email me - yael_schr@yahoo.com.
