RECIPE: High Fiber 'way of life' recipes needed

Posted by sharbear50 (My Page) on

I am trying to find good "high fiber" recipes, not to lose weight but for a digestive disorder. I love fruits and vegies and all the pasta I buy is wheat. What else can I do? I may even have to go liquid only on occasion. Please help.

Fiber one is good. It has 10 gr. dietary fiber in a 1/2c. serving. i use it to bread chicken, eggplant, string cheese, etc. I make a Breakfast smoothy with frozen berries, All Bran, light soy milk and a Tbs. of sugar free vanilla pudding mix. Tastes like icecream. Have one of those for breakfast and you are a third of your way to your recomended(most people) daily amount of fiber

Try adding some ground Flax seed to your recipes. Sprinkle on salads, add to soups etc. Make flax muffins. Make sure it's the ground flax and not whole seeds.
