Can the soap mold be used for ice-cream?

Posted by minak2007 (My Page) on

I am looking into starting an ice-cream business where each scoop is in different shape. At Michaels I have seen beautiful flower mold that I would like to try to freezing ice-cream. Of course, these molds would never be used for anything else. Is that possible? Any suggestions, ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!

sure why not?? Are you going to freeze in the mold then pop out?? or keep in the mold?

Yes, I would freeze it in the mold and then pop out. So you don't think it would matter, right?

I think that is a good idea. You might also want to try some silicone molds. They are more flexible, so it would be easier to pop the ice cream out.
