A friend of mine invited me to a "honey spa" party a few years ago and I was so pleased with the products they offered. I don't know if it is a well known name of the brand, I was under the assumption that she made all of the products and hosted parties to sell her products. But I could be wrong.

Anyway, reading the ingrediants on her products I see she used all natural ingreds such as bees wax, goats milk, grapefruit seeds etc. I have searched all over the net trying to find a recipe that doesn't have lye in it. (I have a really hard time using lye and natural in the same breath) I did see an episode on DIY where they made lip balm and scrubs with natural ingreds. I did get the recipes for them, but I would like to know if there is such a thing as natural soap (homemade, not melt and pour) out there that doesn't have lye in it.

Sorry, no lye (sodium hydroxide, no bar soap.
Sorry, no potassium hydroxide, (for the most part) no liquid soap.
