Question about Epsom Salt

Posted by christinah (My Page) on

I've heard many of the benefits of epsom salt, but I wanted to know if there are any downsides? I've heard of one person who broke out in a rash from it. Is that a normal occurrence?

I just want to get my facts straight before I start dumping epsom salt into my bath salts and scrubs, etc.

Thanks!

RE: Question about Epsom Salt

Epsom salts are used for all kinds of ailments and skin irratations. These salts are commonly used in these types of bath treats as well as a myriad of other salts.

I have used these salts myself in bath salts that I (er, um, my wife) have made and I have sold.

Did yu know that epsom salts are also good for roses?

Although this can be a good resource here, I would check with a health resource/knowledgeable person, or even a busier forum, no not just for bath salts, but most anything that someone will use on their skin.

(In my best German professor's accent, "You must do your research!"
