I'm LOLing at you Jeanne. I never used glitter so never made a mess. ;o) But I read about the idea of putting it in salt shakers (gal had a collection of pretty, clear, vintage ones so she actually displayed her glitter in her craft room). I think I could manage it in a shaker like that. Tho I cringe at help from Jazz. LOL. He'd look like your kitty above, only in orange instead of pink! hugs, Karen

I tried the candle warmers that everyone is so crazy about, and I don't like them for the same reason you stated- for some reason the scent seems to burn off, no matter what brand it is, even one of my own, and you are left with a bunch of weak smelling wax. Whether "rebatching" the wax would work or not, I don't know. Since it will already have some oil in it, it may not hold much more fragrance. The wax would have to be completely melted and then the fragrance oil stirred into it quite well- just like making a candle from scratch. Then the candle would need to set up and cure for about a week. Feasibly, you could have a brand new candle or you could have a flop. You may want to consider using fragrance oils in water on the candle warmer. I know people that do that. It is essentially the same as an electric or tea-light fragrance diffuser. The people I know just put the water in something glass and heat resistant (like a coffee cup) and add some fragrance oil, and let it heat on the warmer. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. The lid fits nicely but don't think it'll hold if I put anything in it. As a salad spinner, it's possible! LOL @summergardener, yea, that would hurt! how funny! As I mentioned earlier about putting in the apples, my husband gave me the look and said we're not fruit people which we don't eat fruits. ha! hm! Now I might go with eggs but I kinda like maybe use it as a candleholder? Leaving the lid up that way the black smoke wouldn't mark on the bottom of the lid. I've included the picture below. The package is going out today. I was waiting on amazon for the window sill flower garden kit and the coloring book with drink recipes. Well, the garden kit was sort of, kind of delivered yesterday. It was delivered to the side of my house in a secure spot (long driveway, not visible from street) and I picked it up within 20 minutes of its arrival. But the envelope was empty! It was easy to open the envelope and close it up again. Amazon refunded the purchase price. Under "tracking" I see that it was sent by "Amazon deliveries." I wonder where it was pinched? I imagine the driver might have wondered why it was so light, but people order decals, stickers, photos, etc that weigh almost nothing. Worth noting, though, the envelope weight said .4 lbs. I don't think it was a porch pirate thing as it wasn't visible from the road and I would think most thieves would take the whole envelope and not spend the time carefully opening it and removing the contents. The coloring book was delivered via USPS and arrived with my mail.
