Beginner needing candlemaking direction!

I'm very interested in delving into the wonderful world of candlemaking. Could anyone direct me to a good source of information for someone who has no knowledge at all thusfar? I want to create pillars with lots of scent. Any help would be appreciated! : )

RE: Beginner needing candlemaking direction!

I would suggest ordering a candle making kit from a reputable place. When I began, I ordered my kit from candlesandsupplies.com. It will contain everything you need, plus instructions, and is priced affordably. Once you get the hang of it, you can then go on to better waxes and more fragrances.

I found this site from a THS Sponsor link.

"Welcome to Candle Making Techniques. Candletech.com offers candle making instructions and project ideas. After perusing through the instructions, you may also wish to visit our growing candle making message boards where you will find many quality posts from fellow candle makers of all skill levels."

Look like a site that will answer just about any candlemaking questions!

Here is a link that might be useful: Candle Making Techniques
