How to turn bars of soap into 'handmade soap'???

Posted by Kpooh (My Page) on

I was given a LOT of bars of hotel soaps, and thought I might be able to turn them into some kind of Christmas gifts??? They have the hotel names, etc. on them so would have to be removed or turned into flakes?? Any suggestions on what to do with them?

You can shred them and then overpour the shreds with melted and fragranced (if desired)glycerin soap. You can also rebatch the bars by melting them very slowly with added milk or water. You can do a search on how to rebatch and find some instructions.
