candle scents

Here's hoping to get some advice on candle scents. I have dabbled in making a few candles for my own use. I bought some scent from hobby lobby, was not impressed by the strength. It was a long time ago and I was so disappointed, I gave up. Now I want to try it again but before I do I'd like to find out what brand our experts (you) use, and where do I get it. I want something that I can actually smell when I enter a room. I didn't have that on my first try. Thanks for any info you will share with me. Andie

I buy my candle fragrances from Bittercreek, although there are many other reputable places. A search engine will point you to Bittercreek. A good place to get candle fragrance opinions and reviews (as the fragrance throw depends on what wax you are using) is thescentreview.com . It is a free forum but requires registration.

Give me the State you live in and I can give you a few suppliers worth checking out.

Hi Andie,
There are quite a few great suppliers in Texas and even a few in Oklahoma.

The best thing to do is check out review boards too.
That way you can get an idea of the most popular places.
