I'm not sure if they still sell it but I know Salon Selectives used to have one, I think it was called Air it out and if I remember right it was a greenish or a blueish color? It probably does have alcohol in it though. I did buy it once and really liked it because it had a nice smell but I don't remember it drying my hair out any because I really didn't need to spray too much on. Just a few squirts and a quick brushing made my hair smell great and I am a smoker so I know how it can get in your hair. Now I just use a few sprays of perfume or some type of body spray or even a leave in conditioner or detangler and brush through if I want to freshen up my hair. Of course nothing freshens hair up like a good shampooing! I shower and wash my hair daily sometimes twice a day (especially in the summer!) so its not too much of a problem for me but sometimes, especially after getting out the car that I or someone was smoking in, I can just tell if someone will be close enough to be smelling my hair I need to do something about it! Sorry I probably wasn't much help! I hope you find something that works well for you and please let me know if you do or if you find the Salon Selectives one it may be worth a try.

We bought a condo last year only to be inundated with cannabis, tobacco smoke and SCENTED THC VAPING. If you google DIY vape scents you will come across “old lady perfume smell” which is the WORST vape scent ever next to STRAWBERRY vape cartridges which completely permeated our entire HVAC system from the owners below AND two floors down. We called the Health Department who contacted our condo management and insisted they post no smoke/vape signs throughout the building. We written the condo Board demanding they seal our HVAC and stop these residents from doing drugs and exhausting them into their range hoods amd through their windows where it gets blown into our ventilation system. It is a near impossible situation. Perhaps there is a way to generate and blow an obnoxious odour or vapour into their units? Sulphur?

I asked my sister in law today what the scent of the one I am using is and she said it has patchouli notes. It is very light scented. If I was buying it I would go for the lemon scented one. The link I posted lists all the scents for the lampe berger. When the odour in this house became unbearable at times I simmered some cinnamon and a cut up apple in a pot on the stove and did that everyday. There is also another product you can get from a janitorial supply company, called Air Lift. I bought another product by the same company called Consume from a janitorial supply company that you water down into a spray bottle and it eats up anything biological and leaves a nice vanilla scent. You have to rinse or vacuum the area after letting the stuff do its job.

I have really tried to develop at least some tolerance for smoking and smokers - especially because my own DH used to be a "social smoker", for lack of a better term. If we went out to a bar that allowed smoking, he'd light up. I tried not to be ugly about it - I really did - but it sickened me, and he would go stand in another part of the bar (or outside) to smoke instead of doing it right next to me. He never smoked in our home or our vehicles -- I see so many people smoking in their cars, holding the cigarette outside the window not wanting to stink up the car, apparently, but don't they fully grasp what they're doing to their irreplaceable body?!? -- but it reached the point where I often didn't even want to go out, or quickly got "in a mood" when we did go out, and everyone around me was lighting up. Thankfully that's a lifestyle we've left far behind. I know that when a person is addicted to nicotine, it's painfully hard to quit. For that reason, I still try to exercise tolerance, but when the stomach-churning stench is inflicted on others who don't partake, I find it very, very hard to maintain a kind mindset.
