Rebatching problems

Posted by Mainiac (My Page) on

I bought some rebatching CP soap from a seller on ebay, including directions for crock pot melting. I added milk to start with. Then more milk. THe soap turned gooey and rubbery. Instructions said to add dry powdered milk. I did this but it was still way to thick to pour. I ended up spooning it into the molds but the molded soap is rubbery. I would like to try to rebatch this again. Any ideas about what went wrong and what, if anything, I can do to correct this.

RE: Rebatching problems

Do you mean that it is rubbery even after the curing time?
