Absolutely get footed for both wine and water. The wine goblet can be larger than the water goblet. Buying in sets is smart and saves $$$$! We have all sorts of wine glasses-from the finest Riedel to big boxes of glasses used for parties and large holiday gatherings. We often use our fine crystal for the water, but rarely use the crystal wine goblets. They are too small for most wines. The only "rules" I follow are: The water goblet is placed above the knife The wine glass(es) are to the right of the goblet Check out Amazon, BB&B, Target, etc. for boxes of "party" wine glasses-meaning versatile and can be used for both red and white wines. Keep in simple!

I second Pllog. You can definitely do this. Particularly if this is a sentimental piece. I have seen armoire conversions of this type in magazines. I'm not familiar with the brand, or its original intended purpose -- some are not intended to hold much weight at all, and a couple of cases of wine, glasses, pulls etc. -- plus the shelves themselves etc. -- will weigh over 100 pounds. I'd get out everything you want to put into it and take a good look at it as a reality check for bracing needs. You certainly don't want to damage your piece! So consider the weight and any bracing. Also consider how the weight is distributed. If it is distributed in an new way, for example, if you put the heavy mirror in the back and heavy wine at the rear back, the unit may not balance right. This is not a reason not to do it, this is just so you don't get caught off guard.

Not 100% sure but i doubt that is a decal nor is it removable. I have sold many many entrance door units and have yet to see one with the decorative lite being a film.

To get a good photo, fill the glass with water, right up to the top. Put something dark, a solid black or dark blue woolen fabric works best, behind and beneath it. Take the picture in a bright, well lit room but without any light directly "hitting" the glass to make a shiny reflection or highlight. Your camera, phone, whatever it is, seems to be good enough to get you an excellent exposure. Don't forget to tell them (or even us) the dimensions of the glass, height, diameter at the rim, and diameter at the foot. Finding a maker's mark on glass can be difficult without a hands-free magnifier and a small but bright flashlight that will allow you to angle the light as you search, an effort to create a shadow. They're not cheap, but a #5 or #7 Mageyes (brand) magnifier does the trick very well, and they're readily available on both eBay and Amazon.
