Pallister I recently purchased a Palliser loveseat and sofa. First off, the sales person never told me anything about the cushions being permanently sewn into the furniture. Since my ankles get very swollen, at the end of the evening I use two hand towels on top of pillows and lay across the loveseat to put my feet up. I tried to do this with this particular loveseat, and could not because my arm continued to fall off the loveseat as it was only 21 inches deep. I’m only 5’4 and not big. I then got up and tried to pull the cushions out and make them longer but to my horror found out the cushions cannot be moved ! Now, the sofa…. It was just a matter of maybe eight or 10 minutes, and my spine started hurting because the back of the sofa is so hard ! It’s like sitting on a rock. I have never had such an experience with furniture before! These two items were very expensive and I expected they would be with me a while, but not so. Also, the cushion on the sofa is very wrinkled on the edge. I can’t turn it around because as I just mentioned, it’s permanently sewn into the sofa. I would never recommend this company to anyone. This has been a terrible experience for me. Buyer, beware! Examine every item you purchase!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. I did...LOL So here's the update. Far now, I'm not going to paint the trim/door, or game room entrance until I finished painting. I like the idea of painting the trim and wall the same color. Thoughts? The ceilings are currently being painted Sherwin Williams Highly Reflective white. Any suggestions on a neutral paint color? (something to flow with this granite color below). I'm going to paint the main living area of the house including the kitchen the same color. I'm back...if you're still willing to help. If you'r sick of me, that's OK too. :) I just got off the phone with our painter, and he said I should use a creamer color due to the high winds in Aruba. Large amt of sands kick off the golf course. Whiter colors need more power washing...so I found two colors and I can't find much at all on the internet because I think they are newer SW colors! He did put Grecian Ivory up, but it was a bit light and not enough contrast with the trim. On the exterior the EAGLET BEIGE SW 7573 looked nice, yet I still don't know if it's too much yellow when painted on the entire house. He's painting a larger area for reference. Have you ever heard of ARRID SANDS HGSW3167? . OR if there is a better color that's a CREAMY/BEIGE with a hint of YELLOW undertone.I want to see more cream than beige. I have been looking for 2 weeks, and I can't seem to find the perfect color. I do like ALABASTER SW 7008 for the trim, PURE WHITE SW was too white. And, I like either TRICORN BLACK 6258 SW or URBANE BRONZE x 150 for the door. Any advice would be so appreciated!

I think either tile would look beautiful, but the darker one on the left is more dramatic. What color you paint the area between the towers on the buffet would depend on what the artwork looks like. I'd want something that would be a high contrast between the background and the artwork. So if the artwork is light, paint it cyberspace, if dark, keep it agreeable gray. The area to the left of the buffet doesn't really need anything. Leave it be for the time being, and see whether you need something there in the future.
