Have all the gammes of candles I need.

Brad: That is earlier then I expected and I hope you get all the blooms left before you get a freeze. The cooler weather certainly enhances the darker colors. Looking at your Belle Isle Sentry again, it really is a pretty purple for this late in the season.......Kay: I've heard multiple theories over the years about why there are blooms and reblooms and why there are not. The latest I heard was that blooms for next year are determined in the fall of the previous year. If there is plenty of moisture then it will result in more blooms next year. Like many people, we are in a droughty situation, but since most of mine are in a pot, they seldom go dry (she says wearily), so I don't know about that theory as it applies to my situation. It will be interesting to see what goes on next year for you in contrast to this one........Maryl

I'll have to keep that tick in mind. We light candles every night - some brands produce a lot of melted wax, others don't. I've been using Northern Lights candles for a few years and they seem to burn without too many drips. But I also use candle followers and bobeches when I use a tablecloth for added protection.

Sue, I stopped burning candles a few years ago because I knew I'd forget to snuff it out and it would catch fire. Saw a candle do that one time. I'm still getting candles as gifts & I put them in the box with my other half used candles. Instead of spending money on more candles for a warmer, I take a butter knife designated for candles only, and take chunks out to use in the warmers. The throw is very good if you have a decent scented candle. My not so observant DH gave me a giant candle at Christmas. Sigh...
