Hi Dani, and welcome! I'm in SE WI, just west of Sturtevant (west of Racine.) Where are you located, if you don't mind my asking? I've been viewing this forum for a couple of years now, but still consider myself an on-going learner, since so many people here know so much more than I do, esp. concerning hybridizing. There's no end to this addiction. I've told myself many times, I'm buying NO MORE new DLs unless I replace some old ones. Ha! That never works, because the people here keep posting more and more beautiful pics, and I say, "I HAVE TO HAVE THAT ONE!" So, I have no choice but to dig up more sod! (less grass to mow, more DLs to enjoy!) To post a photo here, you need to first upload your photos to a free image hosting site. Many people here use Photobucket, as I do. You can then post your pictures from that site to the GW forums. Let us know if you want help setting that up. I have a wish list with several hundred varieties, that I havbe to narrow down to 50, plus I have some seeds coming from the lily auction, that I have no idea where I'm going to put! Here's a repeat of my post from another thread: Posting photos is pretty easy. Go to Photobucket.com and set up a free account. Upload your pictures to that account....make sure the pictures aren't HUGE tho. Once you have your photos all uploaded, open 2 browsers...one here and the other at photobucket. In this message section, type what you want (ie. Plumeria name, etc) then from your second browser at photobucket, click the 3rd bar down under the picture you want to use...the one that says HTML Code. Just clicking on that space copies the pic. Go back to the message box here, right click and hit paste. You can do this several times. It really is easy once you try it...We all would love to see some pics! Jo

We're mostly fairly positive about our stepkids (future stepkids, SO's kids, etc), but like everyone, we sometimes get frustrated and need to voice our complaints. There are a few people here who have some antiSM sentiments and will not always give constructive advice... But even the grouchies have occasional gems to offer. I'm glad you're here! We do have an "introduce yourself" thread somewhere, but I suck at the search engine, so I can't find it for you. My quick story: I'm FSM to a 9yo boy who I call A__ on here. FDH and I are getting married in November. A__ has monster ADHD so can be quite a handful, but he has a big heart. FDH was never married to BM, and actually A__ isn't biologically his, but is the only dad A__ has ever had, and decided to continue that back when he and BM broke up. BM can cause occasional headaches, but is mostly alright. I'm also an adult SD and get along great with my SM. I am more likely to need help with helping FDH parent, and ADHD management than with actual stepfamily issues.

Hi Kelly and welcome to the KT. I have been on KT a short time but a long-time Garden-Web (and now Houzz) member on several other forums. Mostly Garden Design in the old days, my state gardening page (Alabama) which isn't very active anymore, and Home Decorating and the conversation side over there, plus a few others I go to for random advice now and then. I'm an almost-retired engineer (June!), married to the love-of-my-life. We have 3 adult kids, 6 grand-kids we follow around watching them play sports. I spend the rest of my time digging in the dirt/gardening, running, working out, hiking, and doing anything I can to be outside. Hence my name.
