Would like to know if making soap with beef tallow will allow the soap to cure faster? Also what is the minimum time to wait for the soap to cure??

RE: Making Soap with Tallow

Hi,

I have found that it doesn't really matter what base oils/fats you use, except that olive oil takes longer to harden.

Usually a good month should be enough, although I normally use at least 60% hard oils. Around the three month time period should be good, of course less if you don't have the time.
Good luck!
