Where to find cello bags?

Posted by Toni_KY (My Page) on

I've read that cellophane bags are the best for putting my soaps in, but cannot find them anywhere!

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated. :-)

Hi Toni
What size bags are you looking for

RE: Where to find cello bags?

You will probably never believe this, but we have one of the largest dollar stores in the state about a half hour from me. I found two sizes there in 48 per pack. I wrap my soaps in commercial grade plastic wrap. I use the cello bags for putting little gift packs together, like a bottle of lotion and a bar of soap, etc.

You can buy cello and shrink wrap bags from Wholesale Supplies Plus. They are reasonably priced. You can also buy them in bigger quantities from Papermart.com, but they have a handling fee for small orders. You may also want to check out hollyhobby.com.

I bought cello bags with flat bottoms (so they sort of stand) for salts and bombs. Bought them at the Box Depot for what seemed to me to be a good price (if you find better, let me know!!). The Box Depot also has just about every box or bag you can think of - the site is worth checking out for other kinds of packaging!

Here is a link that might be useful: The Box Depot
