I just got my shaving brushes in, so now I need a
"tried and true" recipe for shaving soap. M&P, please.
Thanks

| I made my partner a shaving soap that he loves... Unfortunately, I'm at my parents' house this week and the recipe is at home!! But, it wasn't really anything special - I added some oils (I used calendula-infused safflower oil) and sandalwood e.o. I remember reading somewhere about adding clays to shaving soaps, but I'm not sure why/how much/etc... I hope someone else can be more helpful! :) |

It's a recipe from a magazine, BODY CARE BASICS, called Bay Rum Shaving Foam. It uses 1 oz liquid antibacterial soap FO-bay, allspice, and orange yellow and caramel coloring distilled water all mixed in a foamer bottle I think I will try using bay rum FO that I received yesterday |
