hey, got this from another list i'm on...just passing it on. maybe we can use this thread to post about bad experiences? i'd sure like to know about a place before i buy from them!

I feel that I have an obligation to inform this group about a Co-Op group that is taking people's money and not delivering their product.

The name of the groups is Soaper's Co-Op and it is owned by Melissa May. There is a newsletter-type email sent out called "Soaper's Scoop". The website is:

You may remember seeing her posts about bath confetti at $10-$14 per lb. She just posted another confetti ad this week.

She charges $36.00 for a membership, then you are able to purchase supplies at greatly reduced prices.

I have had a bad experience with this group and have just recently found out that other soapers have been jipped by this group too!

Emails go un-answered when the website promises return emails in 24 hours!

When she does ship, the orders are always short.

I don't like this type of thing and wanted to pass it on.

We work too hard for our money!

You can see several postings related to this on the Yahoo Soap Co-Op problems list.

Follow-Up Postings:

RE: beware

I was just checking out her site recently! Glad to see this message, as there were some amazing deals there... too good to be true, it seems!

RE: beware

here another 'problem' supplier from another thread...autumn windz.

(the link above will take you to the thread, not the site.)
