Plenty of suppliers already make Buttered Popcorn candle scents (just do a google search for it.) I have never done that scent myself, so I really can't tell you how to blend one, if that is your goal. Honestly, I would recommend you buy small bottles of a few different brands and test them out. You may find one you love or you may get the result you want by mixing a couple.

lol..omg..no way..really? Oh wow, so you gave up..or you weren't able to remove it? I wonder if there is any hope for me? Last night I put coffee grounds ALL over the inside of the island's cabinet...closed the doors, let it stay overnight..lol In the morning the whole house smelled of coffee.. I vacuumed it out..wiped it down with warm water and OMG I could STILL smell the faint scent of those horrid candles through the coffee ( I hate coffee btw )...so now I have TWO scents that are making me nauseous! lol.. I may try that lemon oil that other person said, or try to find that deactivated charcoal..otherwise I'm going to sand it down and paint it or put some kind of contact paper? I'm at the point I want to toss the island..but I JUST got it and Love it..Damn damn damn! Ugh!! lol

No, there are too many ingredients that won't dissolve in the wax.

We use 8%, which seems pretty great with Fragrance oils. Now, with essential oils, If you got to something like 30%, you will be both dilluting the wax (so it wont burn well) and also spending a boatload on the oils. The tricky thing is, essential oils vary so much for their own throw, so 8% of one might be great and 8% of another might not do anything. Its all about experimentation, we are trying new things all the time. Connect with your inner mad scientist!!
