Those are great, really like the turtle with his sneakers and the mosquito. I have a pair of size 13 running shoes and parts for a roadrunner sitting on my welding table that I'd like to get to soon. I also have a long list of honey do's taped to refrigerator by my DW. She's a tall Irish lass that gives DH training classes and I have a low threshold for pain. The roadrunner will have to wait awhile longer.

Oh my this is quite a touchy issue! I could not find any more of the 3 foot dollar store fency things yesterday, and I have calmed down. There are still other dollar stores to look and at the very least I can still erect something on the corners and post the sign. I do love the idea of snapping a photo but again... I don't want to add to a negative community feeling since I have very good neighbours at this end. Don't want to appear to be a grouch. She normally walks her dog about 6:30 pm - a good time for me to 'water' outside. Besides, she does have a lovely dog and if I could nicely say hello, pet the dog and just mention again my concerns in a diplomatic way I'd probably see a better result. If that doesn't work, then the gloves are off and I will be out with my camera and I will make a garden sign with one of those red lined circles over the top of it to embarrass her since I'm sure her neighbours also pass by walking home from the bus. Okay, there's a little mean streak there (part of my obsessive depressive disorder - which I am working hard to overcome - NOT healthy at all). Thanks for the tips and comments. It's always good to look at both sides of the coins. As for wildlife poop - I've not noticed any in my lawn or garden...but I'm sure they pee some where! Cheers, McPeg

Finally caught up with my DGD. The cake purse was a "little smaller than the real purse." Yes, there was a discussion about price when the request was made. She told the customer she had no idea how to price it, since she had never done one like that, but told her it would be about $100.00. Remember, she works at home, therefore doesn't have all the expenses that a shop would have. So when it was finished that is what she charged her, $100.00. She said if she ever did a similar one, it would be more. It was a challenge to her, and she likes a challenge, and it was a learning, fun, experience, I thank you for all the nice comments. Scissors, she didn't take any classes or anything; started with small things and progressed from there. She has surprised us with all of it. Jemdandy, maybe "cakeitect?" She will be set up at a local festival tomorrow, with just cupcakes. Don't know what kinds she will be taking, but she will be "introducing" her newest one: Apple Pie a la Mode. Have no idea how that can work! Sue
