I've never posted to this forum before, but thought I could get the answers I am looking for here.
I've got the best bloom going on my Lavender. Best I've had yet. I want to do something creative with it, but I'm not sure what. I've done a couple dried arrangments in the past, but I want to utilize this awesome fragrance.
What kind of things can I do with fresh lavender? Or can I?
Have you cut the stems real close to the ground, bent them at the bottom of the blooms, brought the stems way up & over the blooms, & wove ribbon through the stems & then made a bow? You'd have something that resembles a sock darner.
i like to cook with it. use the buds only, i only use dried. you can make muffins (lemon and lavender are yummy) shortbread cookies with lavender. i also make herbs de province. i love lavender in tea also.
