I need to thank my DD for posting these for her tech challenged old mom~~ There are still some things that I have added...there will be three large black urns with blue spruce, pine, white painted twigs, and etc. placed on the front porch and the "fall arrangement" has been removed. There is a large centerpiece made of pine, candles, greenery, etc. on the dining room table...as well as twigs of pine stuck in and around the photos in on the LR wall....etc.

So you can now see what has been going on at Phoggie's little house....thanks to all of my kids for their help. I have never regretted moving "back home" and I love it here.

I want to wish each and every one of you here on the most friendly forum on this site a very Merry Christmas and I hope 2014 will be kind to you and your loved ones.

    Phoggie.....(Mary)

It looks wonderful. I'm so glad to finally see your house too. I thought you weren't going to have uppers in your kitchen. Did you change your mind or did I read it wrong? Your home looks so perfect. I love the lack of clutter!

The Christmas tour of my house was a real success!... I live in a very small town and had about 100 people who came to visit. I had so many wonderful comments that it made all the work worth-while.

Merry Christmas to each of you gracious friendly posters on this forum...may we always remember the reason for the season!

As always, I am late to the party, but I am glad that I came! How pretty your house is for the Holidays! I love the kitchen, it is so workable. Everything within reach, but lots of room to make a mess! The dining room look especially nice done up in the diagonal. Did you plan it so that we were seeing the reflection of the flag on the front porch in the dining room mirror, or was that a happy coincidence?

I will think of you tomorrow, I hope you are surrounded by family. May the new year treat you well!

Nancy, the flag on the back deck that reflected in the mirror was a coincidence...not planned, but glad it showed up. I am happy you stopped by :-)

Just beautiful Phoggie! I followed your build and loved all your comments about the men building your new home. Your Christmas decorations are beautiful. We put our dining room table on the diagonal and love it! Your pictures speak volumes about how much you love your new home. Have a wonderful 2014!

Motherof3sons.....thank you for your wonderful comments. I used to have the table straight, but every time all of the family were there, I had to have my son come over and help me turn it and put in the extra leaf, so when I had it turned, the kids all liked it...so guess it stays diagonal...life is easier this way.
