finding space in the stairs

Hi! I read a post here a while ago that I cannot find now, but it mentioned installing drawers into your stair risers. I don't believe the post said how it was done but that is what I'd like to do and wondered if the person who posted it or anyone else had done this themselves or would know how to do it? Or maybe even know of a sight to steer me towards? Thanks so much.
