That is gorgeous - and I do like that backsplash also. I never chose a back splash and think I need something very plain (there's not much clearance since on one of my walls I dropped the cabinets down a little to allow for clearance of the beams). Anyway, I've gotten used to seeing my kitchen without a backsplash, although I believe it really finishes off a space. I will probably do plain white subways....or marble subways... or now I have considered these from Lowes and they do provide a nice transition from the dark soapstone to the white cabinets which I have too (but what makes them really nice in this kitchen is that she also has grey walls, I have yellow so I might stick with the plain white or marble). At least a backsplash can be a good winter project (we just got a slight snow dusting today....nothing on roads and driveway but the trees look gorgeous dusted with snow).

LOL I am FAR from having a plain back splash.But I delight in my crazy walls every time I see them day or night the colors always changing. I do think the kitchen reveal is very pretty. OH and how funny it is now showing to the left of my screen here. Got to love computers.

I could not live with the gray walls but I think they are very pretty in this space. I love the white cabinets and glass doors. I do miss my glass doors from our last house. It really opened that kitchen up.

Yep, know what you mean about the gray not for me. Not that anything wrong with gray, because I have some of it in my Silestone Stellar Snow, and of course there is always stainless steel which is gray and so is silver. So I'd change that wall to yellow...TADA!!....you know that, right?

For a cape, with an historic feel but modernized, it feels right the way they did it. Great attention to detail.
