| HOORAY ! I'm getting 8 new windows !!! Here's the saga ..we had some of the big name brands come in for estimates ... they were all in the ball park of $7,000 for 8 windows. Pella was up there in price and I'd even have to STAIN MY OWN !!! I don't think so . I spoke with someone that I chat with on another forum ,and he told me to go to WINDOW WORLD . I did . I couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were . There's no such thing as a "custom size" - they make ANY size . These are the same exact windows that Sears sell .... we're having 8 installed for $3,200 ! They have a lifetime guarantee - even including broken glass ~ they'll come out & replace the glass free. I Can't believe how reasonable they are. They are a Franchise store - they're all over the US. I was never so happy to spend this much money ~ LOL ... They'll be here the 2nd week of Nov. - I'll post how they turn out ! |
