An uncluttered kitchen is the biggest step toward small-space sanity.

Dont own a lot of stuff. If you can do without it, do without it.

When I saw this article, I thought about the American Indians living in tents many years ago because the house isn't much larger than a tent. Instead of each person keeping tools, they passed them around and shared them. We all have too much stuff. Thanks for another good link Flowerlady.

I know DH and I have too much stuff, and as we are doing some remodeling we are de-cluttering as well and that feels good.

A long time ago a read about a woman who lived alone for many years in a one-room apartment in midtown Manhattan. How did she manage? She said, "If I can eat it or wear it I don't buy it."
