After I get our house done, and we are settled in SC, I'd love to build a really tiny guest house on our property (If I can stand the thought of any more building LOL!). It would fun to make a tiny but really ornate Victorian, for example. If anybody asks, it's a 'shed'.

flgargoyle ~ I keep looking at country properties in GA, NC, SC because we are sick of FL overcrowded, flatlands.

I was on some website today where they were writing about people putting up sheds on their property for different rooms to their homes.

DH and I do not want to do any more building, that's why I look for places that are ready to move into, small with a workshop, and hopefully a 'view'.

Are you already building in SC? Have fun, don't stress, and then enjoy your new home when it is finished.

No- we haven't even started in SC yet. When our son finishes college, we'll sell our FL house and get started. I'm hoping to start in 1-2 years. The market is so bad here right now, that it's just as well that we aren't trying to sell yet. Our SC property is 7 acres of woods in extreme NW SC, almost on the NC border near Greenville. Property is still very affordable there (but changing quickly!) and it's nice seeing mountains!
