I've seen it years ago now, haven't been downtown in a very long time. The area was not in good shape in those days, probably around the time they photographed it for the survey. Joachim Street is being restored a lot these days. I hope this house is kept alive.

Mobile is a city of old homes downtown, and some neighborhoods have already gone through a renaissance by yuppy families. Like my nephew did with a house near the Garden District in downtown New Orleans. Even Katrina could not pry him loose from his home on Bordeaux Street.
