| We are thinking about adding a master suite loft and opening up our kitchen and living area on our raised ranch. Advice is needed on how to make the roof line look visually pleasing and not look too long. Any suggestion would be helpful. |

| If you aren't just finishing existing space, I'd get an architect, especially when it's a complicated roof addition. |
