| Hi, all! I posteed a message on the decorating forum, but I guess I should have posted here. I told the story of one home that was actually a mobile home that was great inspiration to me because of the talents of the homeowner in making it her home, not just a house. I love to see articles in magazines about small cottages and mobile homes that the owners have put their hearts into. My DH and I are planning on downsizing, and I was hoping some would show what they have done on a small scale, or with a challenging space like an apartment, mobile home or tiny house. Especially the kitchen, my favorite room! More details can be found at my original post below.....
Any pictures or stories will be a great help; TIA! Frenchkitty |

| There's a new magazine called Bungalows and Cottages that concentrates on decorating and living in them rather than preserving original features (like American Bungalow, which is a publication for purists). Also, visit your local library or a large bookstore with a good decorating section - there have been a few books published on this recently. I don;t have links to anything specific. I live in a house that's about 1300 sf, but it doesn't seem that small to me (except when I am trying to find storage space, lol!). |
