Good afternoon Jay ~ What a beautiful iris. I just love the color. Am really partial to blues/purples in the gardens, although, I do have lots of pinks also. It's hard to believe iris grow in ponds. I hope you can find more pictures from your place. Seeing other's pictures is always so inspiring!

DH thought of the name FlowerLady when I first got online as my handle. That's what he called me because I was always out in the gardens working in and among the flowers. :-)

The rain (so far) has been disappointing here (Tampa/St Pete area). We had a 15' round pool sunk 2' in the ground. When the pool rusted out, we didn't know what to do with the big hole in the ground. After a truck load of fill hardly made a dent, we put in a liner and had a garden pond! DS and I built a pretty bridge across the middle, and it's the easiest gardening I've ever done! We enjoy water lilies year-round, and all the plants and fish thrive with little care. Here's the bridge, before the pond was done.
