Is it Thursday yet?

Okay here I am, and I wonder where everyone else is.

I'm knee deep in alligators it seems, but I'm determined to enjoy the remodel. It will be easier once we get past the demo phase, I'm sure. Of course there is lumber piled in the back yard, it looks like rain, the peeping tom neighbor was on the roof yesterday looking over the fence to see what was going on in our yard, the other one on the other side started off this morning coming to mooch cigs from the workers and slow down their progress. He stood around, I watched, and they kept working, would not engage in chat, so he left.

And after I painted some yesterday I notice a couple of doggy footprints in white on the floor....sure enough, when little Dolly girl took a nap, I saw that paint still on he back foot pads. She is so cute. Also, I leaned over in the room with wet paint on the walls, and got my good khaki shorts imprinted with white paint on one cheek. Oh well.

Life is good. So. How do you like your tea?

LOL...yes, it is Thursday! Such a cute picture of little Dolly girl's foot :)

I am going to go look at yet another house today. It's not very big, but it would be great for my mom. It would also give us a place to stay if we get the ranch about a block away...that needs some serious work!

So, I will let you all know how it goes. This area has VERY inexpensive homes and it's about a 1/2 hour from Spokane. It's a small town, but has a store, school and park...even a little library. My mom is a retired teacher/librarian and will love that. I like that it has LAND for the horses. And a barn...so what else do we really need?

Seriously, I think one has to get creative at times, so we'll see if this could be a possibility. I have four months and 28 days before getting kicked to the curb...so keeping my fingers crossed this will work out!

glad things are on the move ML. Shame on that neighbor. You need something to shock him with... you need a large pic of a naked woman attached to a long stick so you can pop it up over the end wall when he attempts to peek. of course, once the roof in on you can't do that...

we sure do! I hope you find a place soon for you and dh and mom too! Would be nice to be close to each other. I think a small town like that would be wonderful. Our town was very small when I bought my land... not even 1 traffic light. Wow - now they seem to be everywhere (16 yrs later). Developers swarmed us - cause land was cheap. They raped the desert and slapped up housing willy nilly. A real sad thing to see happen. The wildlife think so too!
