I clicked a little box on my email program, thinking I had edited my contact list and was permanently deleting the out of date information on my contact list, dating back the entire time I've used the computers ......

......and it was the list of ALL CONTACTS instead.

Yahoo was so slow putting up the list, I thought it was only the purged items.

Since I got my new phone and stirred up a lot of merging of email lists, there were many duplicates, which I had combined, and it was going swimmingly. Until......I asked them to PERMANENTLY DELETE. I did not want them coming back into my active list. And now, Yahoo cannot import from my other imail list.

However, I can salvage some of it, by getting the SD chip from my old Blackberry, and just importing all that treasured information. It is synced on my new phone, but the storage SDHC with that info on it is still usable and no other place can mess with it, thank heaven.

I feel so out done. Like a beginner. Wasted a whole afternoon. Bummer. Just defeated by a machine.
