Scott You might be looking for it wrong. In your post you have it""If you could start from scratch"" and on the board it is Wish List if you are starting from scratch.

Scott, my posts don't highlight in any color. I cannot tell if there are unread entries to threads I'm interested in. All I can do is see what is near the top and note the most recent post date, and then go read it.

If I create the thread, I always check to receive via email any comments. Are you in the habit of doing that too?

I do not have replies sent to my email address. I used to do this over in the Plant Forums, but I only give out an old, junk email address for sites like this so if my address gets out there, the spam goes to the junk address. As a result, I don't check the junk email address.

Scott, you do not have to put an email addy into your profile in order to get replies to threads you create sent to your addy.

All you need to do is check the box below any NEW THREAD YOU CREATE, and it will send any replies automatically to you at the addy you were using to post, not the junk addy.

Even the posts you make to the thread will come to you that way. It is very handy.

I just redid my profile on GWeb, and still use the same email addy, and my ISP seems to keep the spam down.

Yeah, having problems with the posts I want to add photos to. And my keyboard won't print to the screen without a long delay.

I discovered that I needed to update the Adobe Flash Player, it thought my pics were movies for some reason. Just advising others that this could be an issue. I use Firefox, so it loads the Flash Player 10.1 into that browser. I'm trying it again, I've lost several really time consuming posts which I had illustrated with pics. Now I don't feel like redoing all the details again.
