Kitchen is almost done... a year and a half later

I am working at getting excess grout out of the rope liner on the backsplash. Jim installed the backsplash last week for us, so we are one cupboard door and a few bits of cabinet toe molding away from having the kitchen done. It has been about two years since I started working on designing it, and a year and a half since it became functional.

I am hoping to have pictures for you later in the week!

Soon, Lavender, but not quite yet. It turns out that I have a lot of grout to pick out of the rope listello. My back was giving me trouble today.so I didn't get to it.
Tomorrow , maybe. I have about four feet of it done. It really ties the counter and cabs together well. When I was feeding the dogs today, I turned around quickly and saw it and it made me smile!
