I've made no plans. I've been dating a man who says he wants only me, but doesn't celebrate either Christmas or New Year's Eve -- the most special times of the year (except for gardening, that is, grin). There are plenty of singles' dances in my area, but it's pretty futile to go to one of them without a date on NYEve.

I think I'll just get a bottle of bubbly and watch an old movie. Or read a book. Yawn. Anybody out there looking forward to more than this?
