Yes- hope you all enjoyed! When I was working, I dealt a lot with our Canadian office so I was very aware of holidays. Now that I'm retired, I honestly didn't remember ( I didn't even realize today was a holiday of sorts here). I actually had emailed someone I worked with (she 's Canadian) with whom I keep in touch just to catch up. She wrote back and only THEN did I realize what yesterday was. Oops. I hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday. I love my traditional turkey dinner. Old-fashioned bread stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh cranberry-orange sauce, pumpkin and pecan pies. i know some folks like to try new recipes, but for me, once a year, i like the old ones. I must confess that I did almost succumb to Ina Garten’s chocolate bourbon pecan pie recipe though. I will have to try that sometime. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Thank you, carol and fun2Bhere. The weather has been glorious this weekend. We had a kubie roast and went for a long bike ride yesterday. It was a beautiful day. Just right. 🙂 I’m making a big dinner the weekend after next when family will be here.
